INSPECT FRONT AIRBAG SENSOR (for Vehicle Involved in Collision and Airbag not Deployed)

When the center front bumper or its periphery is damaged, check whether there is any damage to the front airbag sensor. If there are any defects, such as those mentioned below, replace the front airbag sensor with a new one:
Any cracks, dents or chips in the case.
Any cracks or other damage to the connector.
Peeling of the label or damage to the serial number.
CAUTION:
For removal and installation of the front airbag sensor, be sure to follow the correct procedure.
INSPECT FRONT AIRBAG SENSOR (for Vehicle Involved in Collision and Airbag Deployed)
When airbags have deployed as the result of a collision, be certain to replace all airbag sensors in the damaged area (anywhere in need of repair). Furthermore, it is also necessary to replace any airbag sensor in undamaged areas that have registered a major collision, or which exhibits any of the following abnormalities:
Any cracks, dents or chips in the case.
Any cracks or other damage to the connector.
Peeling of the label or damage to the serial number.
