CENTER AIRBAG SENSOR ASSEMBLY REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. PRECAUTION

    Note

    After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work Click here.

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

  3. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY

  4. REMOVE NO. 1 METER HOOD CLUSTER

  5. REMOVE NO. 2 METER HOOD CLUSTER

    Click here

  6. REMOVE CENTER INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL ASSEMBLY

  7. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL CENTER FINISH PANEL

  8. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 AIR DUCT (w/ Rear Air Duct)

  10. REMOVE CENTER AIRBAG SENSOR ASSEMBLY

    1. Confirm that the ignition switch is turned off.

    2. Confirm that the cable is disconnected from the negative battery terminal.

      CAUTION:

      Confirm that the cable is disconnected from the negative battery terminal before performing the operation. Even an impact to only the airbag sensor will cause the airbag to deploy.

    3. Pull the lever down and disengage the connector holder.

      Note

      Do not disconnect the airbag connector by pulling the wire harness.
