Note
After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work Click here.
DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
REMOVE UPPER INSTRUMENT PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY
REMOVE NO. 2 HEATER TO REGISTER DUCT SUB-ASSEMBLY
REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL WIRE

Disengage the clamp.
Using a thin-bladed screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, release the locking button.
Using a thin-bladed screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, disconnect the airbag connector and remove the No. 2 instrument panel wire.
REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL PASSENGER AIRBAG ASSEMBLY
Remove the 2 screws.
Disengage the 3 hooks A.
Disengage the 3 hooks B and remove the instrument panel passenger airbag assembly as shown in the illustration .
