LIGHTING SYSTEM OPERATION CHECK


  1. CHECK ILLUMINATED ENTRY SYSTEM OPERATION

    Note

    Perform this inspection with the customize parameters at the initial setting.


    1. The operation and condition of this control are described below.

      Operation Condition Lighting
      Fade in and illuminate constantly Any door is opened when all the doors are closed.

      • Engine Switch*1

      • Map Light Assembly*2

      • No. 1 Room Light Assembly

      • No. 1 Interior Illumination Light Assembly*3
      Illuminate for 15 seconds, and then fade out The key enters any actuation area around the doors when the engine switch is off and all the doors are closed.*1

      • Engine Switch

      • Map Light Assembly*2

      • No. 1 Room Light Assembly

      When any of the following conditions is met:


      • Any door is unlocked when the ignition switch is off and all the doors are closed and locked.

      • The ignition switch is turned from ACC or ON to off when all doors are closed.

      • All the doors are closed when any door is opened and the ignition switch is off.

      • Engine Switch*1

      • Map Light Assembly*2

      • No. 1 Room Light Assembly

      When any of the following conditions is met:


      • Any door is unlocked when the ignition switch is off and all the doors are closed and locked.

      • The ignition switch is turned from ON to ACC or off when all doors are closed.

      • All the doors are closed when any door is opened and the ignition switch is off.

      		 No. 1 Interior Illumination Light Assembly*3
      Fade out immediately The ignition switch is turned from off to ACC or ON when all the doors are closed.

      • Engine Switch*1

      • Map Light Assembly*2

      • No. 1 Room Light Assembly
      All the doors are locked when the ignition switch is off, all the doors are closed and any door is unlocked.

      • Engine Switch*1

      • Map Light Assembly*2

      • No. 1 Room Light Assembly

      • No. 1 Interior Illumination Light Assembly*3

      • *1: w/ Entry and Start System

      • *3: w/ Footwell Light

    • No. 1 Interior Illumination Light Assembly


    1. Shift position-linked (for CVT)


      1. The operation and condition of this control are described below.

        Operation Condition
        Lighting up The ignition switch is turned from off or ACC to ON when all doors are closed and shift position is in P.
        Dimming The shift lever is moved from P to any positions other than P when ignition switch is ON and all doors are closed.

    2. Parking brake-linked (except CVT)


      1. The operation and condition of this control are described below.

        Operation Condition
        Lighting up The ignition switch is turned from off or ACC to ON when all doors are closed and parking brake applied.
        Dimming The parking brake is released when ignition switch is ON and all doors are closed.

  3. INSPECT BATTERY SAVER


    1. w/o Entry and Start System


      1. When the doors remain in the same condition for 20 minutes and the key is not in the ignition key cylinder, the illumination turns off.

    2. w/ Entry and Start System


      1. When the doors remain in the same condition for 20 minutes and the key is outside the vehicle exterior detection area, the illumination turns off.
