PERSONAL LIGHT REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE MAP LIGHT ASSEMBLY

    *1 Moulding Remover

    1. Using a moulding remover, disengage the 4 claws.

    2. Disconnect each connector and remove the map light assembly.

  2. REMOVE MICROPHONE AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY (w/ Microphone)

  3. REMOVE SLIDE ROOF MOTOR SWITCH (for Glass Roof)

  4. REMOVE MAP LIGHT BULB

    1. Turn the 2 map light bulb sockets in the direction indicated by the arrows in the illustration to remove them.

    2. Remove the 2 map light bulbs from the map light bulb sockets.

  5. REMOVE NO. 1 MAP LIGHT LENS (except Glass Roof)

    *1 Protective Tape

    1. Push the No. 1 map light lens switch.

    2. Insert a screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape between the No. 1 map light lens and the No. 2 map light lens, disengage the 3 claws and remove the No. 1 map light lens.

  6. REMOVE NO. 2 MAP LIGHT LENS (except Glass Roof)

    Use the same procedure described for the No. 1 map light lens.
