PROCEDURE


  1. READ VALUE USING INTELLIGENT TESTER (BACK DOOR COURTESY SW)


    1. Using the intelligent tester, read the Data List Click here.

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POWER SOURCE - INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK)


    1. Disconnect the 3C instrument panel junction block assembly connector.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      3C-4 - Body ground Always 11 to 14 V

  3. INSPECT NO. 2 ROOM LIGHT ASSEMBLY


    1. Remove the No. 2 room light assembly Click here.

    2. Inspect the No. 2 room light assembly Click here.

  4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (BACK DOOR LOCK - NO. 2 ROOM LIGHT, BODY GROUND)


    1. Disconnect the P7 back door lock assembly connector.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance (Check for Open)
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      P7-3 (D+) - K7-2 Always Below 1 Ω
      P7-2 (ACT-) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
      Standard Resistance (Check for Short)
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      P7-3 (D+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

  5. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (NO. 2 ROOM LIGHT - INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK)


    1. Disconnect the 3D instrument panel junction block assembly connector.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance (Check for Open)
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      K7-1 - 3D-6 Always Below 1 Ω
      Standard Resistance (Check for Short)
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      K7-1 - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

  6. INSPECT INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY


    1. Remove the instrument panel junction block assembly Click here.

    2. Remove the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) from the instrument panel junction block assembly.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
