DESCRIPTION
The certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) blinks the theft warning indicator light assembly when the immobiliser is set (the engine switch is off).

READ VALUE USING INTELLIGENT TESTER (ENGINE IMMOBILISER SYSTEM STATUS)
Turn the engine switch off.
Tech Tips
When using the intelligent tester with the engine switch off to troubleshoot:
Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3 and turn a courtesy light switch on and off at intervals of 1.5 seconds until communication between the intelligent tester and vehicle begins.

Disconnect the F56 theft warning indicator light assembly connector.
Disconnect the F63 certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) connector.
Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Apply battery voltage to the theft warning indicator light assembly and check that the illumination comes on.
