WIRELESS DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM(w/ Entry and Start System) No Answer-Back

DESCRIPTION

In some cases, wireless door lock control functions are normal but the hazard warning light and/or wireless door lock buzzer*1 answer-back function(s) does not operate. In such cases, the hazard warning light and wireless door lock buzzer signals output from the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) may be malfunctioning.

Troubleshooting should be started after confirming that the customize status of the answer-back function has been switched on.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK WIRELESS DOOR LOCK CONTROL FUNCTIONS


    1. Check the wireless door lock control function by the electrical key transmitter.

      Result

  2. READ VALUE USING INTELLIGENT TESTER (DOOR LOCK POSITION SWITCH)


    1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the intelligent tester on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body /Main Body / Data List.

    5. Read the Data List according to the display on the intelligent tester.

      ON: Front LH side door unlocked

      OFF: Rear RH side door locked

      On the intelligent tester screen, the display changes between ON and OFF as shown in the table above.

  3. CHECK WIRELESS ANSWER-BACK OPERATION


    1. Check the wireless answer-back operation by wireless door lock control function.
