  1. CUSTOMIZING FUNCTION WITH THE INTELLIGENT TESTER

    The following items can be customized.

    Note


    • When the customer requests a change in a function, first make sure that the function can be customized.

    • Be sure to make a note of the current settings before customizing.

    • When troubleshooting a function, first make sure that the function is set to the default setting.


    1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the intelligent tester on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body / Main Body or Illuminated Entry / Utility / Customize

    5. Select the setting by referring to the table below.

      Wireless Control ON Function that turns wireless door lock function ON or OFF ON or OFF Main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU)
      Hazard Answer Back ON When LOCK switch on transmitter pressed, all hazard warning lights illuminate once. When UNLOCK switch pressed, all hazard warning lights illuminate twice. ON or OFF
      Open Door Warning ON If door is not completely closed and transmitter LOCK switch is pressed, this function sounds a buzzer for 10 seconds. ON or OFF
      Auto Lock Time 30s This function controls amount of time from unlocking doors to automatic re-locking function. 30 s, 60 s or 120 s
      Wireless Buzzer Resp*1 ON Wireless door lock buzzer response / ON or OFF ON or OFF
      Wireless Buzzer Vol*1 Level 5 This function changes the wireless buzzer volume. Level 0, Level 1, Level 2, Level 3, Level 4, Level 5, Level 6 or Level 7

      • *1: w/o Rear Fog Light

    Illuminated Entry
    Display Default Content Setting Relevant ECU
    Lighting Time 15 s Changes the lighting time after closing all of the doors. (It will quickly fade out in case of turning the engine switch from off to on (ACC or IG).) 7.5 s, 15 s or 30 s Main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU)
    I/L ON W/Door Key Unlock ON Lights up the interior lights when doors are unlocked. ON or OFF
