DESCRIPTION

This DTC is stored when LIN communication between the sliding roof drive gear assembly and main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) stops for 10 seconds or more.

Note


  • When the sliding roof ECU (sliding roof drive gear sub-assembly) is replaced or removed and reinstalled, it requires initialization Click here.

  • When using the intelligent tester with the ignition switch off to troubleshoot:

    Connect the intelligent tester to the vehicle and turn a courtesy light switch on and off at 1.5-second intervals until communication between the intelligent tester and vehicle begins.

  • Inspect the fuses for circuits related to this system before performing the following inspection procedure.

When communication between the sliding roof drive gear assembly and main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) stops, DTC B2325 is also stored.

    1. Remove the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) from the instrument panel junction block assembly Click here.

    2. Disconnect the 3A*1 or 3B*2 instrument panel junction block assembly connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance (Check for Open)
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition

      MB-16 (LIN2) - 3A-4*1

      MB-16 (LIN2) - 3B-23*2

      		 Always Below 1 Ω
      Standard Resistance (Check for Short)
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition

      MB-16 (LIN2) or 3A-4 - Body ground*1

      MB-16 (LIN2) or 3B-23 - Body ground*2

      		 Always 10 kΩ or higher

      *1 : w/o Rear Fog Light

      *2 : w/ Rear Fog Light

  4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY - SLIDING ROOF DRIVE GEAR ASSEMBLY)


    1. Disconnect the a1 sliding roof drive gear assembly connector.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance (Check for Open)
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition

      3A-4 - a1-4*1

      3B-23 - a1-4*2

      		 Always Below 1 Ω
      Standard Resistance (Check for Short)
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition

      3A-4 or a1-4 - Body ground*1

      		 Always 10 kΩ or higher

      *1 : w/o Rear Fog Light
