GENERATOR INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL GENERATOR ASSEMBLY

    A005JPQ

    1. Provisionally install the generator assembly with the fixing bolt.

    2. A005I0KE02

      Install the piping clamp with the bolt A and screw B.

      Torque:
      Bolt A
      9.8 N*m  { 100 kgf*cm, 87 in.*lbf }
    3. A005GT5E01

      Provisionally install the fan belt adjusting slider with fan belt adjusting slider fixing bolt A and nut B.

    4. Move generator assembly toward the cylinder block and tighten nut B.

      Torque:
      11 N*m  { 112 kgf*cm, 8 ft.*lbf }

    5. Connect the connector and engage the clamp.

    6. Install the wire harness to terminal B with the nut.

      Torque:
      9.8 N*m  { 100 kgf*cm, 87 in.*lbf }

    7. Install the terminal cap.

  2. INSTALL FAN AND GENERATOR V BELT

  3. ADJUST FAN AND GENERATOR V BELT

    Click here

  4. INSPECT FAN AND GENERATOR V BELT

    Click here

  5. INSTALL ENGINE UNDER COVER RH

    Click here

  6. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Torque:
    5.4 N*m  { 55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf }
