DESCRIPTION
If there is a short in this circuit, the radio and display receiver detects it and stops output to the speakers.
Thus sound cannot be heard from the speakers even if there is no malfunction in the radio and display receiver or speakers.
If a short is detected in the speaker circuit, no sound can be heard from the speakers.

CHECK SPEAKER (OPERATION CHECK)
Enter the "System Check Mode" screen. Refer to Check Speaker in Operation Check Click here.
Perform the operation check above and determine the speaker that is not operating.

CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (RADIO AND DISPLAY RECEIVER ASSEMBLY - FRONT NO. 1 SPEAKER - FRONT NO. 2 SPEAKER)
Disconnect the F45 radio and display receiver assembly connector.
Disconnect the H8 and G8 front No. 1 speaker assembly connectors.
Disconnect the H9 and G9 front No. 2 speaker assembly connectors.
Measure the resistance between each front No. 2 speaker assembly and the radio and display receiver assembly to check for an open circuit in the wire harness.

Measure the resistance between each front No. 1 speaker assembly and front No. 2 speaker to check for an open circuit in the wire harness.

Check that the malfunction disappears when another speaker in good condition is installed.

Tech Tips
Connect all the connectors to the front No. 2 speakers.
If there is a possibility that either the right or left front speaker is defective, inspect by interchanging the right one with the left one.
Perform the above inspection on both LH and RH sides.

Disconnect the J4 and I4 rear speaker assembly connectors.
Measure the resistance between each rear speaker assembly and the radio and display receiver assembly to check for an open circuit in the wire harness.
