    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Terminal No. (Symbol) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      F61-1 (GND) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      F61-6 (IG2) - F61-1 (GND) SB - W-B IG2 signal input Engine switch off → engine switch on (IG) Below 1 V → 11 to 14 V
      F61-7 (B) - F61-1 (GND) GR - W-B Power source Always 11 to 14 V
    3. Reconnect the F61 steering lock actuator assembly (steering lock ECU) connector.

    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

Terminal No. (Symbol) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      F61-3 (IGE) - F61-1 (GND) L - W-B Power source for driving motor

When all of the following conditions are met:

      • Steering lock unlocked

      • Engine switch off

      • Shift lever in P*1 or N*2

      • Driver side door close to open

11 to 14 V (Steering lock motor not operating) → Below 1 V (Steering lock motor operating)
      F61-4 (SLP1) - F61-1 (GND) P - W-B Unlock position sensor output signal Steering lock locked → steering lock unlocked 11 to 14 V → Below 1.2 V
      F61-5 (LIN) - F61-1 (GND) BE - W-B LIN communication line - -

If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.
