DESCRIPTION

The power steering ECU assembly distinguishes the ignition switch status as ON or off through the IG power source circuit.

  • If the power steering ECU assembly has been replaced, perform the torque sensor zero point calibration Click here.

  • Inspect the fuses for circuits related to this system before performing the following inspection procedure.

PROCEDURE


  1. READ VALUE USING INTELLIGENT TESTER (IG POWER SUPPLY)


    1. Turn the ignition switch off.

    2. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

    3. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

    4. Turn the intelligent tester on.

    5. Enter the following menus: Chassis / EMPS / Data List.

    6. Select the item IG Power Supply in the Data List and read the value displayed on the intelligent tester.

      Disconnect the A42 and F6 power steering ECU assembly connectors.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
