PARKING BRAKE CABLE(for Rear Disc Brake) REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE REAR WHEEL

  2. REMOVE PARKING BRAKE LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

  3. REMOVE NO. 3 PARKING BRAKE CABLE ASSEMBLY


    1. Remove cable clamp A from the body.

    2. Remove the 4 bolts.

    3. Break the cable clamp B to remove it.

      Disconnect the cable end from the rear disc brake cylinder operation lever.

      *1 Casing Clip
      *2 Clip
      *3 Offset Wrench (14 mm)

      Insert offset wrench (14 mm) all the way into the casing cap clip to flex the clip claws and remove the parking brake cable.

  4. REMOVE NO. 2 PARKING BRAKE CABLE ASSEMBLY

    Use the same procedure for the RH side as for the LH side.
