PARKING BRAKE LEVER REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE BOX

  2. LOOSEN LOCK NUT

      Loosen the lock nut.

  3. SEPARATE NO. 3 PARKING BRAKE CABLE ASSEMBLY


    1. Separate the No. 3 parking brake cable assembly from the parking brake equalizer.

  4. SEPARATE NO. 2 PARKING BRAKE CABLE ASSEMBLY


    1. Separate the No. 2 parking brake cable assembly from the parking brake equalizer.

  5. REMOVE PARKING BRAKE LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Disconnect the parking brake switch connector.

      Remove the 2 bolts and the parking brake lever sub-assembly.

  6. REMOVE INDOOR ELECTRICAL KEY ANTENNA ASSEMBLY

  7. REMOVE PARKING BRAKE LEVER SUPPORT BRACKET


    1. A005HXJ

      Remove the 4 bolts and parking brake lever support bracket.
