BRAKE BOOSTER(for RHD) INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL BRAKE BOOSTER ASSEMBLY (for 1NR-FE)


    1. Install a new gasket onto the brake booster assembly.

    2. Temporary install the brake booster assembly with the 4 nuts.

    3. A005KFDE01

      Tighten the 4 nuts in the order shown in the illustration.

      Torque:
      9.0 N*m  { 92 kgf*cm, 80 in.*lbf }

    4. Attach the wire harness clamp.

    5. Install the wire harness bracket with the bolt.

      Torque:
      8.4 N*m  { 85 kgf*cm, 74 in.*lbf }

    6. Connect the vacuum hose to the brake vacuum check valve assembly with the clip.

  2. INSTALL BRAKE BOOSTER ASSEMBLY (for 1NZ-FE)


    1. Install a new gasket onto the brake booster assembly.

    2. Temporary install the brake booster assembly with the 4 nuts.

    3. A005KFDE01

      Tighten the 4 nuts in the order shown in the illustration.

      Torque:
      9.0 N*m  { 92 kgf*cm, 80 in.*lbf }

    4. Attach the wire harness clamp.

    5. Connect the vacuum sensor connector to the vacuum sensor assembly.

    6. Connect the vacuum hose to the brake vacuum check valve assembly with the clip.

  3. INSTALL BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER PUSH ROD CLEVIS

  4. INSTALL AIR CLEANER AND HOSE ASSEMBLY (for 1NR-FE)

  5. INSTALL INLET NO. 1 AIR CLEANER (for 1NR-FE)

  6. INSTALL OUTER COWL TOP PANEL

  7. INSTALL LOWER COWL TOP REINFORCEMENT INNER

  8. INSTALL COWL TOP INSIDE CORNER PANEL RH

  9. INSTALL INNER COWL TOP TO COWL BRACE

    Click here

  10. INSTALL FRONT NO. 1 VENTILATOR SEAL

  11. INSTALL FRONT AIR SHUTTER SEAL RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
