  1. INSPECT VSC OFF SWITCH

      Component without harness connected

      (VSC OFF Switch)

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      6 (+) - 3 (E) Pressed Below 1 Ω
      Not pressed 10 kΩ or higher

      If the result is not as specified, replace the combination switch (VSC OFF switch).

    2. Check the illumination operation.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      4 (ILL-) - 5 (ILL+) Battery's positive (+) lead connected to terminal 5 and negative (-) lead to terminal 4 LED illuminates

      If the result is not as specified, replace the switch.
