FRONT SPEED SENSOR REMOVAL

PROCEDURE

1. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL

2. REMOVE FRONT FENDER LINER

   
   

   1. 

      Using a screwdriver, turn the pin 90 degrees and remove the pin hold clip.

   2. Remove the 7 clips and 2 screws.

   3. Remove the 4 grommets and remove the front fender liner.

      Tech Tips

      The grommet needs to be replaced with a new one because it will break when it is removed.

3. REMOVE FRONT SPEED SENSOR

   
   

   1. Disengage the clamp from the body.

      

   2. Disconnect the speed sensor connector.

   3. Disengage the 3 clamps from the body.

   4. Remove the bolt and separate the clamp from the body.

   5. Remove the bolt and separate clamp from the shock absorber.

   6. Remove the bolt and remove the speed sensor from the steering knuckle.

      Note

      
      

      • Keep the speed sensor tip and installation portion free of foreign matter.

      • Remove the speed sensor without turning it from its original installation angle.
