BRAKE BOOSTER(for LHD) INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL BRAKE BOOSTER ASSEMBLY


    1. Install a new gasket onto the brake booster assembly.

    2. Temporarily install the brake booster assembly with the 4 nuts.

    3. A005GY5E01

      Tighten the 4 nuts in the order shown in the illustration.

      Torque:
      9.0 N*m  { 92 kgf*cm, 80 in.*lbf }

    4. Install the wire harness bracket with the bolt. (for Multi-mode Automatic Transmission)

      Torque:
      5.4 N*m  { 55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf }

    5. Connect the vacuum hose to the vacuum check valve with the clip.

  2. CONNECT VACUUM SENSOR CONNECTOR (w/ Stop And Start System)


    1. Connect the vacuum sensor connector.

  3. INSTALL BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER PUSH ROD CLEVIS

  4. INSTALL OUTER COWL TOP PANEL

  6. INSTALL INNER COWL TOP REINFORCEMENT

  7. INSTALL INNER COWL TOP TO COWL BRACE

  8. INSTALL FRONT NO. 1 VENTILATOR SEAL

  9. INSTALL FRONT AIR SHUTTER SEAL RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.
