VEHICLE STABILITY CONTROL SYSTEM, Diagnostic DTC:C1381

DTC Code DTC Name
C1381 Acceleration Sensor Power Supply Voltage Malfunction

DESCRIPTION

The brake actuator assembly (skid control ECU) receives signals from the center airbag sensor assembly (yaw rate sensor) via the CAN communication system.

The center airbag sensor assembly (yaw rate sensor) has a built in deceleration sensor and detects the vehicle's condition using 2 circuits (GL1, GL2).

If there is trouble in the bus lines between the center airbag sensor assembly (yaw rate sensor) and the CAN communication system, the DTCs U0123 (Lost Communication with Yaw Rate Sensor Module) and U0124 (Lost Communication with Lateral Acceleration Sensor Module) are output.

These DTCs are also output when calibration has not been completed.

DTC NO. DTC Detection Condition Trouble Area
C1381 At a vehicle speed of more than 3 km/h (2 mph), the acceleration sensor power source malfunction signal is received for 10 seconds or more.
  • Center airbag sensor assembly (Yaw rate sensor)

  • Center airbag sensor assembly (Yaw rate sensor) power source circuit

CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT

Note

  • When replacing the deceleration sensor, be sure to perform deceleration sensor 0 point calibration and CVT oil pressure calibration after performing AT/CVT learned values initialization.
