VEHICLE STABILITY CONTROL SYSTEM, Diagnostic DTC:C1419, C1435

DTC Code DTC Name
C1419 Acceleration Sensor Internal Circuit
C1435 Yaw Rate Sensor Internal Circuit

DESCRIPTION

The brake actuator assembly (skid control ECU) receives signals from the center airbag sensor assembly (yaw rate sensor) via the CAN communication system.

The center airbag sensor assembly (yaw rate sensor) has a built-in deceleration sensor and detects the vehicle's condition using 2 circuits (GL1, GL2).

If there is trouble in the bus lines between the center airbag sensor assembly (yaw rate sensor) and the CAN communication system, DTCs U0124 (Lost Communication with Lateral Acceleration Sensor Module) are set.

These DTCs are also output when calibration has not been completed.

DTC NO. DTC Detection Condition Trouble Area
C1419 A data malfunction signal is received from the acceleration sensor. Center airbag sensor assembly (Yaw rate sensor)
C1435 A data malfunction signal is received from the yaw rate sensor. Center airbag sensor assembly (Yaw rate sensor)

CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT

Note

  • When replacing the deceleration sensor, be sure to perform deceleration sensor 0 point calibration and CVT oil pressure calibration after performing AT/CVT learned values initialization.
