FRONT SHOCK ABSORBER DISASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE

1. REMOVE FRONT SUSPENSION SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY

2. REMOVE FRONT COIL SPRING UPPER SEAT

   
   

   1. 

      Using a socket hexagon wrench 6, fix the shock absorber rod and loosen the nut.

   2. 

      Using SST, compress the coil spring.

      SST

      09727-30021   ( 09727-00010, 09727-00021, 09727-00031 )

      Note

      Do not use an impact wrench. It will damage SST.

   3. Remove the nut.

   4. Remove the coil spring upper seat with the strut mounting bearing and spring bumper from the shock absorber.

3. REMOVE FRONT SPRING BUMPER

   
   

   1. Remove the spring bumper from the coil spring upper seat.

4. REMOVE FRONT COIL SPRING UPPER INSULATOR

5. REMOVE FRONT COIL SPRING

6. REMOVE STRUT MOUNTING BEARING

   
   

   1. 

      Using a brass bar and press, remove the strut mounting bearing from the coil spring upper seat.
