Tech Tips
Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.
The procedure listed below is for the LH side.
PROCEDURE
REMOVE WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR ASSEMBLY
REMOVE FRONT AIR SHUTTER SEAL RH (for RHD)
REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 VENTILATOR SEAL (for LHD)
REMOVE LOWER COWL TOP REINFORCEMENT INNER (for RHD)
Remove the 3 bolts and lower cowl top reinforcement inner.
REMOVE COWL TOP INSIDE CORNER PANEL RH (for RHD)
Separate the 2 wire harness clamps.
Remove the 3 bolts and cowl top inside corner panel RH.
REMOVE COWL TOP INSIDE CORNER PANEL LH (for LHD)
Separate the 2 wire harness clamps.
Remove the 3 bolts and cowl top inside corner panel LH.
REMOVE COWL TOP REINFORCEMENT INNER (for LHD)
Remove the 3 bolts and cowl top reinforcement inner.
REMOVE FRONT WHEEL
SEPARATE FRONT STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY
Remove the nut and separate the front stabilizer link assembly from the shock absorber.
Tech Tips
If the ball joint turns together with the nut, use a socket hexagon wrench 6 to hold the stud.
SEPARATE FRONT FLEXIBLE HOSE
Remove the bolt and separate the speed sensor and front flexible hose.
REMOVE FRONT SUSPENSION SUPPORT DUST COVER
REMOVE FRONT SHOCK ABSORBER WITH COIL SPRING
Remove the 2 nuts and 2 bolts and separate the front shock absorber with coil spring from the steering knuckle.
Tech Tips
Keep the bolt from rotating while loosening and removing the nuts.
Using a socket hexagon wrench 6, fix the shock absorber rod and remove the nut.
Remove the front No. 2 suspension support.
Remove the front shock absorber with coil spring from the vehicle.
