REVOLUTION SENSOR INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL TRANSMISSION REVOLUTION SENSOR (NT SENSOR)


    1. Clean and degrease the bolt and the bolt installation hole.

      *1 Adhesive

      Apply adhesive to 2 or 3 threads on the ends of the bolt.

      Adhesive
      Toyota Genuine Adhesive 1324, Three Bond 1324 or equivalent

    3. Apply Toyota Genuine CVT Fluid TC to a new O-ring and install it on the transmission revolution sensor (NT).

    4. Install the transmission revolution sensor (NT) onto the CVT with the bolt.

      Torque:
      5.4 N*m  { 55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf }

    5. Connect the transmission revolution sensor connector (NT).

  2. INSTALL TRANSMISSION REVOLUTION SENSOR (NIN SENSOR)


    1. Apply Toyota Genuine CVT Fluid TC to a new O-ring and install it on the transmission revolution sensor (NIN).

    2. Install the transmission revolution sensor (NIN) onto the CVT with the bolt.

      Torque:
      5.4 N*m  { 55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf }

    3. Connect the transmission revolution sensor connector (NIN).

  3. INSTALL TRANSMISSION REVOLUTION SENSOR (NOUT SENSOR)


    1. Apply Toyota Genuine CVT Fluid TC to a new O-ring and install it on the transmission revolution sensor (NOUT).

    2. Install the transmission revolution sensor (NOUT) onto the CVT with the bolt.

      Torque:
      5.4 N*m  { 55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf }

    3. Connect the transmission revolution sensor connector (NOUT).
