OIL PAN INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL TRANSAXLE OIL PAN SUB-ASSEMBLY

      *1 Oil Cleaner Magnet

      Install the 2 oil cleaner magnets onto the transaxle oil pan sub-assembly.

    2. Install a new transaxle oil pan gasket on the transaxle oil pan sub-assembly.

    3. Install the transaxle oil pan sub-assembly with the 15 bolts.

      Torque:
      7.0 N*m  { 71 kgf*cm, 62 in.*lbf }

  2. INSTALL NO. 1 TRANSMISSION OIL FILLER TUBE


    1. Using a socket hexagon wrench (6 mm), install the No. 1 transmission oil filler tube.

      Torque:
      0.8 N*m  { 8.2 kgf*cm, 7 in.*lbf }

    2. Install a gasket and temporarily tighten the drain plug with a socket hexagon wrench (6 mm).

      Tech Tips

      Because the drain plug will be removed again, the gasket can be reused at this time.
