SHIFT LEVER REASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL SHIFT LOCK RELEASE SPRING


    1. A005I6Y

      Engage the claw to install the shift lock release spring and No. 1 shift lock release link.

  2. INSTALL SHIFT LOCK RELEASE BUTTON


    1. A005K4I

      Install the shift lock release button to the lower position indicator housing.

  3. INSTALL LOWER POSITION INDICATOR HOUSING


    1. A005KAP

      Engage the 2 claws to install the lower position indicator housing to the shift lock control unit assembly.

      Note

      Make sure that the claws are firmly engaged.

  4. INSTALL NO. 2 POSITION INDICATOR SLIDE COVER


    1. A005GJR

      Install the No. 2 position indicator slide cover to the position indicator slide cover.

  5. INSTALL POSITION INDICATOR SLIDE COVER


    1. A005K4C

      Install the position indicator slide cover with the No. 2 position indicator slide cover to the shift lock control unit assembly.

  6. INSTALL UPPER POSITION INDICATOR HOUSING


    1. A005M0P

      Engage the 4 claws to install the position indicator housing to the shift lock control unit assembly.

      Note

      Make sure that the claws are firmly engaged.

  7. INSTALL SHIFT LOCK CONTROL ECU SUB-ASSEMBLY

    A005M1K

    1. Install the shift lock control ECU sub-assembly to the shift lock control unit assembly.

      Note

      Make sure that the claws are firmly engaged.

    2. Connect the connector to the shift lock control ECU sub-assembly.

  8. INSTALL POSITION INDICATOR HOUSING ASSEMBLY

      Install the bulb cap to the bulb.

    2. Install the bulb into the indicator light wire.

    3. A005H6K

      Install the indicator light wire sub-assembly, and engage the wire harness clamp.

    4. A005HKH

      Engage the 4 claws to install the position indicator housing assembly to the shift lock control unit assembly.
