PARK / NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH ADJUSTMENT

PROCEDURE


  1. ADJUST PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH ASSEMBLY


    1. Move the shift lever to N.

    2. Remove the battery clamp.

    3. Remove the battery.

    4. Remove the battery tray.

    5. Remove the battery carrier.

      Loosen the 2 bolts on the park/neutral position switch assembly.

    7. Move the park/neutral position switch assembly to align the neutral reference line and nut stopper protrusion.

    8. Tighten the 2 bolts on the park/neutral position switch assembly.

      Torque:
      5.4 N*m  { 55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf }

    9. Install the battery carrier.

    10. Install the battery tray.

    11. Install the battery.

    12. Install the battery clamp.
