      (Park/Neutral Position Switch Assembly)

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Shift Lever Position Specified Condition
      1 (RB) - 3 (PL) P Below 1 Ω
      Except P 10 kΩ or higher
      1 (RB) - 2 (RL) R Below 1 Ω
      Except R 10 kΩ or higher
      1 (RB) - 8 (NL) N Below 1 Ω
      Except N 10 kΩ or higher
      1 (RB) - 7 (DL) D Below 1 Ω
      Except D 10 kΩ or higher
      1 (RB) - 5 (2L) B Below 1 Ω
      Except B 10 kΩ or higher
      4 (B) - 9 (L) N and P Below 1 Ω
      Except N and P 10 kΩ or higher

      • If the resistance value is not as specified, replace the park/neutral position switch assembly.
