PARK / NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY

  2. REMOVE BATTERY

  3. REMOVE BATTERY TRAY

    Click here

  4. REMOVE BATTERY CARRIER

    Click here

  5. DISCONNECT TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY


    1. Move the shift lever to N.

      Remove the nut and clip, and disconnect the transmission control cable assembly from the control shaft lever.

  6. REMOVE PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH ASSEMBLY

    1. Remove the nut, spring washer and control shaft lever.

    2. Disconnect the park/neutral position switch connector.

    3. A005GYAE04

      Using a screwdriver, bend the tabs of the lock plate.

    4. Remove the lock nut and lock plate.

      Remove the 2 bolts and pull out the park/neutral position switch assembly to remove it.
