OIL PAN INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL TRANSAXLE OIL PAN SUB-ASSEMBLY

    *1 Magnet

    1. Clean the transaxle bolt hole.

    2. Install the 3 magnets to the oil pan.

    3. Install a new gasket to the oil pan.

    4. Install the oil pan to the transaxle with the 16 bolts.

      Torque:
      7.8 N*m  { 80 kgf*cm, 69 in.*lbf }

      Note

      Completely remove any oil or grease from the contact surface of the transaxle case and oil pan sub-assembly with gasket before installation.

  2. ADJUST CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSAXLE FLUID

  3. INSPECT FOR OIL LEAK

  4. INSTALL ENGINE UNDER COVER LH
