FRONT DIFFERENTIAL OIL SEAL REPLACEMENT

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE FRONT DRIVE SHAFT ASSEMBLES

  2. REMOVE CVT TYPE T OIL SEAL LH

    A005IRPE03

    1. Using SST, tap out the CVT type T oil seal LH from the transaxle case.

      SST
      09308-00010

      Note

      Do not damage the transaxle case.

  3. REMOVE CVT TYPE T OIL SEAL RH

    A005M0RE02

    1. Using SST, tap out the CVT type T oil seal RH from the transaxle housing.

      SST
      09308-00010

      Note

      Do not damage the transaxle housing.

  4. INSTALL CVT TYPE T OIL SEAL LH

    A005KPNE01

    1. Using SST and a hammer, tap in a new CVT type T oil seal LH to the transaxle case.

      SST
      09950-70010   ( 09951-07200 )
      09554-14010
      Standard depth
      6.7 to 7.7 mm (0.2638 to 0.3031 in.)

      Note

      Do not damage the oil seal lip.

    2. Coat the lip of the oil seal with MP grease.

  5. INSTALL CVT TYPE T OIL SEAL RH


    1. A005H0GE02

      Using SST and a hammer, tap in a new CVT type T oil seal RH to the transaxle housing.

      SST
      09950-70010   ( 09951-07200 )
      09554-14010
      Standard depth
      1.5 to 2.5 mm (0.0591 to 0.0984 in.)

      Note

      Do not damage the oil seal lip.

    2. Coat the lip of the oil seal with MP grease.
