SHIFT AND SELECT ACTUATOR REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY

  2. REMOVE AIR CLEANER FILTER ELEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  3. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CASE SUB-ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  4. REMOVE AIR CLEANER BRACKET

    Click here

  5. REMOVE BATTERY

    Click here

  6. REMOVE BATTERY TRAY

    Click here

  7. REMOVE BATTERY CARRIER

    Click here

  8. REMOVE AIR PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  9. REMOVE WIRE HARNESS CLAMP BRACKET

      Separate the wire harness from the wire harness clamp bracket.

    2. Remove the bolt and wire harness clamp bracket from the shift and select actuator assembly.

  10. REMOVE SHIFT AND SELECT ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY


    1. Disconnect the connectors and separate the wire harness.

      Remove the 6 bolts and the wire harness clamp bracket from the shift and select actuator assembly.

      *1 Protective Tape

      Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, remove the shift and select actuator assembly from the manual transaxle assembly.

      Note

      Do not damage the multi-mode manual transaxle unit.

  11. REMOVE TRANSMISSION BREATHER SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Disconnect the breather hose from the shift and select actuator assembly.

    2. Remove the bolt and transmission breather sub-assembly.

  12. REMOVE RING PIN

      Remove the 2 ring pins from the shift and select actuator assembly.
