SHIFT LEVER ASSEMBLY REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY

  2. REMOVE NO. 1 METER HOOD CLUSTER

    Click here

  3. REMOVE NO. 2 METER HOOD CLUSTER

    Click here

  4. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY

    1. Twist the shift lever knob sub-assembly in the direction indicated by the arrow and remove it.

  5. REMOVE CENTER INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL ASSEMBLY

  6. REMOVE SHIFTING HOLE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Disengage the 6 claws and remove the center instrument cluster finish panel assembly.

    2. A005I3P

      Remove the shifting hole cover sub-assembly.

  7. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL CENTER FINISH PANEL

  8. DISCONNECT TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY

      *2 Transmission Control Select Cable

      Disconnect the transmission control shift cable from the shift lever assembly.

    2. Disconnect the transmission control select cable from the shift lever assembly.

      *1 Adjusting Nut

      Turn the adjusting nut 180° clockwise. While holding the adjusting nut in that position, separate the transmission control cable assembly.

  9. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER ASSEMBLY

      Remove the 4 nuts and the shift lever assembly.
