CLUTCH PEDAL SWITCH INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL NO. 2 CLUTCH START SWITCH ASSEMBLY (for LHD)

    1. Fully loosen the adjusting nut and temporarily tighten the No. 2 clutch start switch assembly onto the clutch support.

      Note

      Do not fully tighten the adjusting nut, because the nut will be tightened after adjusting the height of the pedal.

    2. Connect the connector.

  2. INSTALL NO. 2 CLUTCH START SWITCH ASSEMBLY (for RHD)


    1. Install the No. 2 clutch start switch assembly with the nut.

      Torque:
      16 N*m  { 160 kgf*cm, 12 ft.*lbf }

      Note

      Insert the protrusion of the No. 2 clutch start switch into the hole in the clutch pedal support.

    2. Connect the No. 2 clutch start switch connector.

  3. INSTALL CLUTCH START SWITCH ASSEMBLY


    1. Install the clutch start switch with the nut.

      Torque:
      16 N*m  { 160 kgf*cm, 12 ft.*lbf }

      Note

      Insert the protrusion of the clutch start switch into the hole in the clutch pedal support.

    2. Connect the clutch start switch connector.

    3. With the clutch pedal depressed to the fully open position, check that the clearance shown in the illustration.
