CLUTCH STROKE SENSOR(for EC65A) INSPECTION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT CLUTCH STROKE SENSOR

    1. Connect 3 dry batteries of 1.5 V in series.

    2. Connect the battery positive (+) lead to terminal A and the negative (-) lead to terminal B.

    3. Turn the sensor arm and check the voltage between terminals B and C.

      Reference
      Voltage (Power Source Voltage at 4.5 V)
      Sensor Angle Terminal (B-C) Output Voltage
      55° 4.05 V
      0° 2.25 V
      -55° 0.45 V
      Voltage (Power Source Voltage at 4.5 V)
      Sensor Angle Terminal (B-C) Output Voltage
      55° 4.05 V
      0° 2.25 V
      -55° 0.45 V

      Note


      • Do not apply more than 6 V.

      • Do not drop the clutch stroke sensor. If dropped, replace it with a new one.

      If the voltage is not as specified, replace the clutch stroke sensor.
