CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER(for LHD) REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE BRAKE BOOSTER ASSEMBLY

  2. REMOVE CLUTCH RESERVOIR TUBE


    1. Disconnect the clutch reservoir tube from the clutch master cylinder assembly.

      Tech Tips

      Use a container to collect the fluid.

  3. DISCONNECT CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER TO FLEXIBLE HOSE TUBE

    1. Using a union nut wrench 10 mm, disconnect the clutch master cylinder to flexible hose tube.

  4. REMOVE CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER ASSEMBLY

    1. Remove the 2 nuts and the clutch master cylinder assembly.

  5. REMOVE CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER PUSH ROD CLEVIS

    *1 Lock nut
    *2 Clutch Master Cylinder Push Rod Clevis

    1. Measure the dimension A as shown in the illustration before loosening the lock nut.

    2. Loosen the lock nut and remove the clutch master cylinder push rod clevis.

    3. Remove the lock nut.

      Note

      When loosening the lock nut, be suer to hold the clevis in place by its hexagonal portion.
