CLUTCH PEDAL(for RHD) INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL CLUTCH PEDAL STOPPER BOLT


    1. Install the clutch pedal stopper bolt and provisionally tighten the lock nut.

      Tech Tips

      Tighten the lock nut to the specified torque when adjusting the clutch pedal.

  2. INSTALL NO. 2 CLUTCH START SWITCH ASSEMBLY


    1. Install the No. 2 clutch start switch assembly with the nut.

      Torque:
      16 N*m  { 160 kgf*cm, 12 ft.*lbf }

      Note

      Insert the protrusion of the No. 2 clutch start switch assembly into the hole in the clutch pedal support sub-assembly.

  3. INSTALL CLUTCH START SWITCH ASSEMBLY


    1. Install the clutch start switch assembly with the nut.

      Torque:
      16 N*m  { 160 kgf*cm, 12 ft.*lbf }

  4. INSTALL CLUTCH PEDAL STOPPER


    1. Install the clutch pedal stopper.

  5. INSTALL CLUTCH PEDAL PAD


    1. Install the clutch pedal pad onto the clutch pedal sub-assembly.

  6. INSTALL CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER PUSH ROD CLEVIS BUSH

    1. Apply MP grease to the inside of a new clutch master cylinder push rod clevis bush.

    2. Install the new clutch master cylinder push rod clevis bush onto the clutch pedal sub-assembly.

      Tech Tips

      Install the clevis bush from the right side of the vehicle.

  7. INSTALL NO. 1 CLUTCH PEDAL CUSHION


    1. Install the No. 1 clutch pedal cushion onto the clutch pedal sub-assembly.

  8. INSTALL CLUTCH PEDAL SHAFT COLLAR


    1. Apply MP grease to both sides of the 2 clutch pedal bushes and clutch pedal shaft collar.

    2. Install the 2 clutch pedal bushes and clutch pedal shaft collar onto the clutch pedal sub-assembly.

  9. INSTALL CLUTCH PEDAL SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Install the clutch pedal sub-assembly onto the clutch pedal support sub-assembly with the bolt and the nut.

      Torque:
      37 N*m  { 375 kgf*cm, 27 ft.*lbf }

  10. INSTALL CLUTCH PEDAL SPRING


    1. Install the clutch pedal spring.

  11. INSTALL CLUTCH PEDAL SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Install the clutch pedal support sub-assembly onto the vehicle with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      9.0 N*m  { 92 kgf*cm, 80 in.*lbf }

    2. Connect the clutch start switch connectors.

  12. INSTALL CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER ASSEMBLY
