OIL PUMP REASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL OIL PUMP RELIEF VALVE

      *1 Oil Pump Relief Valve Plug
      *2 Oil Pump Relief Valve Spring
      *3 Oil Pump Relief Valve

      Coat the oil pump relief valve with engine oil and insert the oil pump relief valve and oil pump relief valve spring into the oil pump cover.

    2. Install the oil pump relief valve plug.

      Torque:
      25 N*m  { 255 kgf*cm, 18 ft.*lbf }

  2. INSTALL OIL PUMP ROTOR SET

    1. Coat the oil pump rotor set with engine oil and place it into the oil pump body with the marks facing the oil pump cover side.

  3. INSTALL OIL PUMP COVER

    A005LX6

    1. Install the oil pump cover with the 2 bolts and 3 screws.

      Torque:
      bolt
      8.8 N*m  { 90 kgf*cm, 78 in.*lbf }
      screw
      10 N*m  { 105 kgf*cm, 8 ft.*lbf }
