OIL PUMP REPLACEMENT

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE OIL PUMP SEAL

    1. Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, remove the oil pump seal.

  2. INSTALL OIL PUMP SEAL

    1. Using SST and a hammer, tap in a new oil seal until its surface is flush with the timing chain cover.

      SST
      09950-60010   ( 09951-00250, 09951-00410, 09952-06010 )
      09950-70010   ( 09951-07100 )

      Note

      Do not tap the oil seal at an angle.

    2. Apply a light coat of MP grease to the oil pump seal lip.

      Note

      Keep the lip free of foreign matter.
