ENGINE OIL COOLER INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL OIL COOLER ASSEMBLY


    1. Check and clean the oil cooler assembly installation surface.

    2. Install 2 new O-rings and a new gasket to the oil filter bracket.

    3. Install the oil cooler assembly with the 2 bolts and 2 nuts.

      Torque:
      21 N*m  { 214 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*lbf }

  2. CONNECT OIL COOLER HOSE

    1. Connect the oil cooler hose.

  3. INSTALL COMPRESSOR ASSEMBLY WITH PULLEY (w/ Air Conditioning System)

  4. CONNECT NO. 1 COOLER REFRIGERANT DISCHARGE HOSE (w/ Air Conditioning System)

  5. CONNECT SUCTION HOSE (w/ Air Conditioning System)

  6. INSTALL FAN AND GENERATOR V BELT (w/ Air Conditioning System)

  7. INSPECT FAN AND GENERATOR V BELT (w/ Air Conditioning System)

  8. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE COVER (w/ Air Conditioning System)

    Click here

  9. ADD ENGINE OIL

    Click here

  10. CHECK ENGINE OIL LEVEL

    Click here

  11. ADD ENGINE COOLANT

    Click here

  12. CHARGE REFRIGERANT (w/ Air Conditioning System)

    Click here

  13. INSPECT FOR OIL LEAK

    Click here

  14. INSPECT FOR COOLANT LEAK

    Click here

  15. WARM UP ENGINE (w/ Air Conditioning System)

  16. INSPECT FOR REFRIGERANT LEAK (w/ Air Conditioning System)

  17. INSTALL CENTER ENGINE UNDER COVER
