ENGINE OIL COOLER REMOVAL

PROCEDURE

1. RECOVER REFRIGERANT FROM REFRIGERATION SYSTEM (w/ Air Conditioning System)

   Click here

2. REMOVE CENTER ENGINE UNDER COVER

   Click here

3. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE COVER (w/ Air Conditioning System)

   Click here

4. REMOVE FAN AND GENERATOR V BELT (w/ Air Conditioning System)

   Click here

5. DISCONNECT SUCTION HOSE (w/ Air Conditioning System)

   Click here

6. DISCONNECT NO. 1 COOLER REFRIGERANT DISCHARGE HOSE (w/ Air Conditioning System)

   Click here

7. REMOVE COMPRESSOR ASSEMBLY WITH PULLEY (w/ Air Conditioning System)

   Click here

8. DRAIN ENGINE OIL

   Click here

9. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT

   Click here

10. DISCONNECT NO. 2 RADIATOR HOSE

    Click here

11. DISCONNECT OIL COOLER HOSE

    

    
    

    1. Disconnect the oil cooler hose.

12. REMOVE OIL COOLER ASSEMBLY

    

    
    

    1. Remove the 2 bolts, 2 nuts and the oil cooler assembly.

    2. 

       Remove the 2 O-rings and gasket from the oil filter bracket.
