OIL PUMP INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL OIL PUMP DRIVE AND DRIVEN ROTORS


    1. Apply engine oil to the drive and driven rotors.

    2. Apply engine oil to the shafts on the oil pump drive rotor.

      *1 Alignment Mark

      Align the oil pump drive rotor mark with the driven rotor mark.

    4. Install the oil pump drive rotor with the driven rotor to the oil pan.

  2. INSTALL OIL PUMP ASSEMBLY


    1. Install the oil pump assembly with the 5 bolts.

      Torque:
      8.8 N*m  { 90 kgf*cm, 78 in.*lbf }
