RADIATOR INSTALLATION

CAUTION:

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL RADIATOR DRAIN COCK


    1. Install the radiator drain cock onto the radiator assembly.

      Note

      Replace the O-ring if it is damaged.

  2. INSTALL LOWER RADIATOR SUPPORT GROMMET


    1. Install the 2 lower radiator support grommets onto the radiator assembly.

  3. INSTALL RADIATOR SUPPORT CUSHION


    1. Install the 2 radiator support cushions onto the radiator assembly.

  4. INSTALL FAN SHROUD


    1. A005JR4

      Engage the 2 claws and install the fan shroud.

  5. INSTALL RADIATOR ASSEMBLY


    1. A005JWG

      Engage the 2 claws and install the radiator assembly onto the vehicle.

      Note

      Do not apply excessive force to the cooler condenser assembly or piping when installing the radiator assembly.

    2. Connect the cooling fan motor connector and the wire harness clamp.

  6. CONNECT NO. 2 RADIATOR HOSE

      Connect the No. 2 radiator hose with the hose clip.

      Note

      Perform the installation with the hose clip and mark at the correct angle.

  7. CONNECT NO. 1 RADIATOR HOSE

      Connect the No. 1 radiator hose with the clip.

      Note

      Perform the installation with the hose clip and mark at the correct angle.

  8. INSTALL NO. 1 COOLER COVER


    1. Install the No. 1 cooler cover with the 2 clips.

  9. INSTALL UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT


    1. Install the upper radiator support with the 4 bolts.

      Torque:
      5.5 N*m  { 56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf }

    2. Connect the horn connector.

    3. Connect the airbag connector.

  10. INSTALL AIR BAG SENSOR BRACKET

    Click here

  11. INSTALL HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY


    1. Install the hood lock assembly with the 3 bolts.

      Torque:
      7.5 N*m  { 77 kgf*cm, 66 in.*lbf }

    2. Engage the 2 clamps of the upper radiator support.

  12. INSTALL HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY

  13. ADD ENGINE COOLANT

    Click here

  14. ADJUST HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  15. INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT

    Click here

  16. INSPECT FOR ENGINE COOLANT LEAK
