EXHAUST MANIFOLD REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. DRAIN COOLANT

    Click here

  2. REMOVE WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR AND LINK ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  3. REMOVE COWL TOP INSIDE CORNER PANEL RH

    Click here

  4. REMOVE LOWER INNER COWL TOP REINFORCEMENT

    Click here

  5. REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 VENTILATOR SEAL

    Click here

  6. REMOVE FRONT AIR SHUTTER SEAL RH

    Click here

  7. REMOVE INNER COWL TOP TO COWL BRACE

    Click here

  8. REMOVE OUTER COWL TOP PANEL

    Click here

  9. REMOVE AIR FUEL RATIO SENSOR

    Click here

  10. REMOVE FRONT EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  11. DISCONNECT CHECK VALVE TO CONNECTOR TUBE HOSE

      Disconnect the check valve to connector tube hose.

  12. REMOVE NO. 1 EXHAUST MANIFOLD HEAT INSULATOR


    1. A005L7O

      Disengage the 2 wire harness clamps and separate the engine wire harness.

    2. Remove the bolt and the wire harness bracket.

    3. A005L6T

      Remove the 3 bolts and the No. 1 exhaust manifold heat insulator.

  13. REMOVE DRIVE SHAFT HEAT INSULATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A005L3S

      Remove the 3 bolts and drive shaft heat insulator sub-assembly.

  14. REMOVE MANIFOLD SUPPORT BRACKET

      Remove the 3 bolts and remove the manifold support bracket.

  15. REMOVE EXHAUST MANIFOLD


    1. A005LU3

      Disconnect the No. 3 water by-pass hose and No. 4 water by-pass hose.

    2. A005M6H

      Remove the 3 bolts, 4 nuts and remove the exhaust manifold.

    3. Remove the exhaust manifold to head gasket.

  16. REMOVE NO. 2 EXHAUST MANIFOLD HEAT INSULATOR


    1. A005H38

      Remove the 3 bolts and No. 2 exhaust manifold heat insulator.
