INTAKE MANIFOLD REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE THROTTLE BODY ASSEMBLY

  2. REMOVE STUD BOLT

      Using an E6 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the 3 stud bolts.

  3. DISCONNECT VENTILATION HOSE

      Loosen the clip and disconnect the ventilation hose.

  4. DISCONNECT UNION TO CONNECTOR TUBE HOSE

      Loosen the clip and disconnect the union to connector tube hose.

  5. REMOVE INTAKE MANIFOLD

      Disengage the wire harness clamp and separate the wire harness.

    2. A005GH1

      Remove the bolt and wire harness clamp bracket.

    3. A005HBL

      Disengage the wire harness clamp and separate the wire harness.

    4. A005I3M

      Remove the oil level dipstick sub-assembly.

    5. A005H5N

      Disengage the wire harness clamp and separate the engine wire.

    6. A005JOW

      Remove the bolt and clamp from the generator assembly.

    7. A005KRS

      Remove the 2 nuts, 3 bolts and the intake manifold.

      Remove the plug from the intake manifold.

  6. REMOVE NO. 1 INTAKE MANIFOLD TO HEAD GASKET


    1. A005JJO

      Remove the No. 1 intake manifold to head gasket from the intake manifold.

  7. REMOVE NO. 2 INTAKE MANIFOLD INSULATOR


    1. A005IZF

      Remove the No. 2 intake manifold insulator.
