EXHAUST MANIFOLD REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER

  2. REMOVE AIR FUEL RATIO SENSOR

    Click here

  3. REMOVE FRONT EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  4. REMOVE OIL LEVEL DIPSTICK SUB-ASSEMBLY

  5. REMOVE OIL LEVEL DIPSTICK GUIDE


    1. A005M21

      Remove the bolt, engine oil level dipstick guide and O-ring.

  6. REMOVE NO. 1 EXHAUST MANIFOLD HEAT INSULATOR


    1. A005LWS

      Remove the 2 nuts, bolt and the No. 1 exhaust manifold heat insulator.

  7. REMOVE NO. 2 EXHAUST MANIFOLD HEAT INSULATOR


    1. A005L1W

      Remove the 2 bolts and the No. 2 exhaust manifold heat insulator.

  8. REMOVE MANIFOLD STAY


    1. A005HY7

      Remove the bolt, nut and manifold stay.

  9. REMOVE EXHAUST MANIFOLD CONVERTER SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Remove the 7 nuts and exhaust manifold converter sub-assembly.

    2. A005LW0

      Remove the exhaust manifold to head gasket and EGR inlet gasket.
