INTERCOOLER REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY

  2. REMOVE CENTER ENGINE UNDER COVER

    Click here

  3. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Disconnect the mass air flow meter connector.

    2. Disengage the 4 clamps and separate the wire harness from the air cleaner cap.

      Disengage the 2 lock clamps and separate the air cleaner cap.

    4. Loosen the hose clamp and remove the air cleaner cap.

  4. REMOVE AIR CLEANER FILTER ELEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A005L3C

      Remove the air cleaner filter element.

  5. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CASE SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A005JDN

      Remove the 3 bolts and the air cleaner case.

  6. DISCONNECT NO. 3 AIR HOSE


    1. A005I8R

      Loosen the hose clamp and disconnect the No. 3 air hose from the intercooler assembly.

  7. DISCONNECT NO. 2 AIR HOSE


    1. A005K0G

      Disengage the 2 clamps and disconnect the wire harness.

    2. A005JG7

      Loosen the hose clamp and disconnect the No. 2 air hose from the intercooler assembly.

  8. SEPARATE RADIATOR RESERVE TANK ASSEMBLY

      Remove the bolt and separate the radiator reserve tank.

  9. REMOVE AIRBAG SENSOR BRACKET

  10. REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A005GWV

      Disconnect the horn connector.

    2. A005GUU

      Disconnect the airbag sensor connector.

    3. A005KI9

      Disengage the 2 clamps and disconnect the wire harness.

    4. A005GYH

      Disengage the 2 clamps and remove the 3 bolts, disconnect the hood lock assembly.

    5. A005LA4

      Remove the 4 bolts and the upper radiator support sub-assembly.

  11. REMOVE INTERCOOLER ASSEMBLY


    1. A005H22

      Remove the intercooler assembly.

  12. REMOVE RADIATOR SUPPORT CUSHION


    1. A005L6V

      Remove the radiator support cushion.

  13. REMOVE GROMMET


    1. A005LH1

      Remove the 2 grommets.
