PURGE VALVE INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL NO. 1 VACUUM SWITCHING VALVE ASSEMBLY

   
   

   1. Install the No. 1 vacuum switching valve assembly to the air cleaner hose.

   2. Connect the No. 1 fuel vapor feed hose and the No. 2 fuel vapor feed hose to the No. 1 vacuum switching valve assembly.

      Tech Tips

      
      

      • Position the paint mark facing front : No. 1 fuel vapor feed hose

      • Position the paint mark facing up : No. 2 fuel vapor feed hose

      Position the paint mark facing up.

   3. Connect the No. 1 vacuum switching valve assembly connector and engage the clamp.
