EXHAUST MANIFOLD W/ TURBOCHARGER REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE EXHAUST MANIFOLD CONVERTER SUB-ASSEMBLY

  2. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY WITH HOSE

      Disconnect the mass air flow meter connector.

    2. Disengage the 4 wire harness clamps and separate the wire harness from the air cleaner cap.

      Unlock the 2 lock clamps and separate the air cleaner cap.

    4. Disconnect the clamp and the ventilation hose from the cylinder head cover.

    5. Disconnect the air cleaner hose from the turbocharger and remove the air cleaner cap with hose.

  3. REMOVE AIR CLEANER FILTER ELEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY

  4. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CASE SUB-ASSEMBLY

  5. REMOVE BATTERY

    Click here

  6. REMOVE BATTERY TRAY

    Click here

  7. REMOVE BATTERY CARRIER

    Click here

  8. REMOVE AIR PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  9. REMOVE TURBOCHARGER SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Remove the 2 nuts A.

    2. Loosen the 2 nuts B.

    3. A005IYO

      Remove the 2 bolts and the manifold stay.

    4. A005M37

      Remove the 2 bolts, the nut and the turbocharger stay.

    5. A005IAF

      Remove the 3 nuts and the turbocharger sub-assembly.

    6. A005J98

      Remove the gasket from the exhaust manifold.

    7. A005HOC

      Remove the gasket from the turbocharger sub-assembly.

  10. REMOVE INLET TURBO OIL PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A005IC0

      Remove the 2 nuts and the inlet turbo oil pipe sub-assembly.

    2. A005LDK

      Remove the gasket from the cylinder block.

  11. REMOVE INLET COMPRESSOR ELBOW SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A005JFY

      Remove the 3 nuts and the inlet compressor elbow sub-assembly.

    2. Remove the gasket from the inlet compressor elbow sub-assembly.

  12. REMOVE EXHAUST MANIFOLD


    1. A005JAY

      Remove the 8 nuts and the exhaust manifold.

    2. Remove the gasket from the cylinder head.
